A multinational retail corporation wanted to proactively identify, understand and avoid security risk to its operations. In particular, executives and other business managers were required to travel internally to either visit current company locations or assess new markets, some of which included frontier markets that experienced greater security risk.
RANE provided the corporate security department with travel risk assessments identifying and analyzing the risk associated with political instability, terrorism, war and insurgency, crime, natural disasters and other miscellaneous risk factors depending upon the location. In addition to outlining the types and level of risk for its employees, RANE also provided a forecast of how the identified conditions may be expected to evolve over the timeframe of interest to the client, usually specific to the timeframe of the trip.
RANE’s support allowed the company’s travelers to avoid unnecessary risk and successfully conduct business dealings within such countries, thereby allowing the company operate globally with less impact to its business continuity
